Description

A bottle of L'Héritier-Guyot Vieux Marc De Bourgogne VSOP. This was bottled for the Italian market and imported by D&C, we estimate in the 1970s.

Marc is a type of brandy produced by pressing the grape skins, seeds and pulp left over from wine production. This is then distilled and, in this case, aged in oak casks before bottling.
