This lot contains 12 bottles of Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz 2016 from South Australia's Barossa Valley; a rare breed in super premium Barossa Shiraz with its balance of elegance and power.
The name Stonewell was chosen in recognition of the high quality shiraz grapes being grown around Stonewell road in the Marananga district of the Barossa. Immensely concentrated, low-yielding, highest quality fruit and traditional winemaking techniques are the foundation of this classic Australian shiraz. Mostly old-vine sourced grapes from the western slops of the balance and shows typical panforte, plum, and chocolate characters with structured tannins, well-seasoned oak together with the Lehmann trademark length. Aging potential 30 years.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
