This lot contains twelve bottles of Château Fonroque 1973 Grand Cru Classé, from Bordeaux's Saint-Emilion appellation, produced by the Moueix family who have owned the property since 1931. Fonroque is a 20 hectare site with limestone, clay and sandy/silty soils, planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc vines.
This wine was well cellared in cool conditions since purchase in the late 1970s. This lot is listed for historical interest only.
