Description

A bottle of Inchgower 23 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This was distilled in 1998 and bottled by Club Qing Whisky Bar for the Scary Tale Series, titled 'Medusa What's Going On'.

This is one of 150 bottles, bottled from cask number 9992.

The label of each whisky in Club Qing’s Scary Tale Series has been designed by artist Katy Ku (KT518) to interpret a different folkloric narrative from well-known myths and fairy tales that date back thousands of years. In Katy Ku’s artwork the mythical entities such as dwarfs, dragons and elves have been depicted as cats (because, she explains: ‘many whisky lovers are also cat lovers’) and other domestic animals. The artworks also reference modern cultural stereotypes such as the objectification of the female protagonists.

The Club Qing restaurant was founded in 2003 in Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong. It became a whisky bar in 2015 and started releasing its own bottlings exclusively for the bar and its customers.
