Description

A bottle of Penny Blue XO Single Estate rum from Mauritius. This is a collaboration between Berry Brothers & Rudd, and Medine distillery. This is batch #002 and was matured in whisky, Cognac, and bourbon casks.

The name 'Penny Blue' comes from one of the world's rarest postage stamps. Printed in Mauritius in 1847, the text read 'Post Office' rather than 'Post Paid', making it an instant collector's item. Of the thousands printed at the time, only 12 are believed to be in existence today.
