Description

A bottle of 1992 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot from Domaine Ramonet.

Morgeot is the largest Premier Cru vineyard in Chassagne-Montrachet, and is located at the southern end of the appellation, where it covers over 58 hectares , including 20 'lieux dits' vineyards. The Morgeot name originates from the Latin for boundary, as the vineyard is at the extreme of the Côte-d'Or administrative department.

Please note, the liquid is slightly hazy.

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Please note, the liquid is slightly hazy.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
