Description

A bottle of Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Kessler 2015 from Domaine Schlumberger, a medium sweet wine picked from a steeply sloping single vineyard plot, first mentioned in 1394. This has a residual sugar level of 46 grams per litre.

Established in 1810, Schlumberger are based in the south of Alsace in the high altitude town of Guebwiller, where they cultivate and vinify 130 hectares of vines on slopes with an incline as steep as 50°, half of which are harvested from the four Grands Crus of Kitterlé of Kessler, Saering and Spiegel.
