Domaine Schlumberger Pinot Gris 2007 Kitterle Grand Cru 75cl / 13%
A bottle of Pinot Gris Grand Cru Kitterlé 2007 from Domaine Schlumberger, a medium sweet wine picked from a rocky, terraced single vineyard plot, first mentioned in 1699. This has a residual sugar level of 41.5 grams per litre.
Established in 1810, Schlumberger are based in the south of Alsace in the high altitude town of Guebwiller, where they cultivate and vinify 130 hectares of vines on slopes with an incline as steep as 50°, half of which are harvested from the four Grands Crus of Kitterlé of Kessler, Saering and Spiegel.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
