A bottle of 2001 Tokaji 5 Puttonyos Aszú dessert wine, produced by Hilltop Neszmely for UK retailer Marks & Spencer. This is a blend of 70% Harslevelu and 30% Furmint.
Five puttonyos is equivalent to 125 kilos of botrytised grapes added to a 136 litre barrel of base wine: enough to give the resulting wine a richly luscious character whilst maintaining good levels of natural balancing acidity.

We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
