A bottle of Laphroaig 1960 Vintage Reserve. This was distilled by Bessie Williamson (the first female distillery manager of the 20th century), matured in the distillery's Warehouse No.1 for 40 years before bottling at natural cask strength.
This bottling was released by Oddbins around the turn of the century, and only 300 were released with the '1960' label, the worldwide release was labelled as '40 Year Old'.
This is bottle number 290.
