Description

A bottle of King's Ransom Round The World Blend, named for the fact that the whiskies in this blend were shipped around the world in sherry casks before bottling. This was produced by William Whiteley & Co., which was owned by Glenforres Glenlivet. We estimate this bottle dates from the 1960s.

The back label states: 'This blend contains fine Scotch whisky that has been voyaged round the world via Cape Town, Melbourne, Cape Horn, Rio, Madeira, and from thence back to Scotland to be blended.'
