Description
This lot contains three bottles of Grant's Stand Fast Finest Scotch Whisky, blended and bottled by William Grant & Sons. We estimate these were bottled in the early 1970s.
This lot comes from a large consignment bought in 1972/1973. The seller invested in a lifetime's supply of Grant's Standfast for their own consumption to avoid a 10% VAT (Value Added Tax) charge that was about to be introduced in the UK in 1 April 1973. Most of the original bottles were enjoyed over the subsequent decades. The seller no longer consumes whisky and has consigned the remaining (approximately 120) bottles to be sold at Whisky.Auction over three auctions.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
