Description

A bottle of 1984 Grand Vin de Château Latour from Bordeaux's Pauillac appellation.

Château Latour is rated as a First Growth under the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, and can lay good claim to producing the world's longest-lived dry red wine. A 66 hectare estate planted with 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 5% Merlot/Cabernet Franc, it has at its core fruit harvested from the 45 hectare L'Enclos vineyard situated around the winery and Château itself.
