Description

A bottle of 1986 Domaine Font de Michelle Châteauneuf du Pape from producers Les Fils d'Etienne Gonnet, from the Southern Rhône's most celebrated appellation.

The Gonnet family have lived in the region since the 1500s, with the winery becoming fully established in the 1950s. This is the 'Cuvée Traditionelle' although is not labelled as such, and comprises of 70% Grenache from 50 year old vines with 10% each of Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre.
