A bottle of Baron de Lustrac 1888 Armagnac, sealed with wax and presented in a wooden box. This was distilled in Lajuzan (Gers), in the heart of Bas-Armagnac in a pot still using predominantly Folle Blanche, the principal grape variety in the region before Phylloxera struck in 1893. This was matured in traditional 400 litre oak casks and transferred into glass demijohns in the 1960s.
