A bottle of Els Jelipins Vi De Taula Rosé from Spain's Font-Rubí hills in Alt Penedès, near Barcelona made from the Sumoll grape variety from a 100 year old vineyard.
The Els Jelipins winery was founded in 2001 by Glòria Garriga with the intention of producing naturally made 'classic, ancestral, crystalline wine' in tiny quantities. This wine naturally fermented and aged for 30 months in used oak vats and amphorae, with a small addition of sulphur dioxide only at bottling. 700 bottles were produced.
