A bottle of Courvoisier Grande Fine Champagne Napoléon Cognac. We estimate this was bottled in the 1940s to early 1950s.
Legend has it that Napoleon took several barrels of Courvoisier with him into exile on the island of St Helena, the English officers on the ship were impressed with the brandy and named it 'The Brandy of Napoleon'.
The label carries a royal warrant by appointment to HM King George VI.
