Description

A bottle of Berisford Amontillado Fino sherry, bottled from a solera which was established in 1914. This comes from Jose Pemartin winery and was shipped by Capital Wines & Travers Ltd.

With the solera system, the vintage (in this case 1914) refers to the oldest liquid in the barrels. Each year, bottles are drawn from the casks and newer vintages are added, resulting in a blend of several vintages that may span over a hundred years.
