A bottle of Spanish Sauternes Type wine, no producer, size or ABV is stated on the label.

After the Second World War, the Spanish wine industry underwent a revival, with large cooperative wineries forming and producing wine for export, with names like 'Spanish Sauternes' and 'Spanish Chablis'.

This wine is not technically a Sauternes and is unlikely to have been produced from botrytised grapes. We estimate it was bottled in the 1950s.
