Description

A 20cl bottle of The Balvenie 12 Year Old Doublewood, matured first in traditional whisky oak, followed by a period spent in sherry casks.

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1889 by whisky pioneer William Grant, and has been in the same family for five generations. Today, it is one of the few family-owned distilleries in Scotland, producing whisky in a traditional style; using local barley where possible, and still maintaining their own malting floor.
