This experience was donated by Susanna and James Forbes for The Cream Of The Crop Charity Auction in aid of The Drinks Trust to support drinks industry employees.
Inspired by the people, the tastes and the amazing fruit in the Three Counties, Susanna and James Forbes found their dream orchard near Bromyard in North Herefordshire, England with 120 trees with four classic cider apple varieties. Making cider with as little intervention as possible, letting the fruit and the vintage speak, they craft ciders and perries with real flavour. This is cider with the character and structure to match with food. They are ciders to enjoy, to share and to celebrate with.
Little Pomona Cidery first launched onto the market in 2017, in 2019 the team were thrilled to be named Cider Producer of the Year by the Hereford Times, and in 2020 they opened their Tasting Room nearby on Brook House Farm.
Running Saturday afternoons from April through to October, your visit kicks off with a welcome cider in the Cider Garden. Weather permitting, you'll head to the Garden Orchard for a taste and visit the young Quince Orchard. Then it’s back into the cidery where the magic happens – check out the wonderful barrel wall – and finish with a tutored tasting. Head home with one of their special Little Pomona glasses as a memento of the day.
Valid for two years from purchase. Tours run on Saturdays, April to October and must be pre-booked.
