A bottle of Plantation 2007 13 Year Old St. Lucia Rum Extreme No.4.
Part of the fourth edition of the Plantation Extreme series, this very limited single cask was one of only 544 bottles released, exclusively in the UK.
The rum was distilled at Saint Lucia Distillers in 2007 and aged for 11 years in 200 litre bourbon casks, then moved to Ferrand cellars in Cognac and aged for a further two years in Ferrand French oak casks. 769g/hL of volatile substances, 206 g/hL of esters, zero dosage and bottled at 58.9%, this is a serious rum.
Powerful, rich, fruity, yet dry and elegant with a long finish.
