This bottle was donated by Ian Macleod Distillers Ltd for The Cream Of The Crop Charity Auction in aid of The Drinks Trust to support drinks industry employees.
A bottle of Tamdhu 2003 Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This was matured in a first fill European oak sherry butt selected by assistant distillery manager Iain Whitecross and bottled in March 2020.
This is bottle number 210 of 676; it was bottled from cask number 5892.
To honour Iain Whitecross's 14 years of commitment to the distillery, as well as his craft, Tamdhu Distillery Manager, Sandy McIntyre, offered him the rare opportunity to select and bottle his very own single cask. Iain Whitecross had a list of 150 exceptional casks to nose, and cask no. 5892 which was distilled in 2003 was the one he fell in love with. This limited edition bottling is Iain’s perfect dram. Give it a try - it might well be yours, too.
