A bottle of Tenuta di Trinoro 2018 Rosso Toscana, bottled by Vini Franchetti.

The story of Tenuta di Trinoro is that of a terroir-inspired visionary, who defied convention to follow his instinct, to great avail to the wine community. From his 22 hectare estate in Val d’Orcia, Southern Tuscany, Andrea Franchetti produces some of the greatest examples of Bordeaux blends to come out of Italy. This is their flagship wine, which is highly sought-after, and has received critical acclaim from across the globe. Comprised of the first selection of grapes, a vintage-specific blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot grown on thin, hard, rocky soils rich in quartz and limestone.
