A bottle of Glenfiddich Special Reserve Single Pure Malt Scotch Whisky presented in a Clans of the Highlands of Scotland tin. We estimate this was bottled in the 1980s.
This tin celebrates Clan Sutherland. The name has been connected to Scottish royalty since William of Sutherland was made Earl of Sutherland by Alexander II, King of the Scots, in 1235. The name derives from the Old Norse for 'south land', the name given to the area south of the Viking settlements in Orkney and Caithness.
