Description

A bottle of Dow's 2000 vintage port bottled in 2002. 2000 was a small but intensely ripe crop in the Douro, with the Dow's style being, as ever, slightly drier and more elegant than most of the other famous shippers.

'Shows the intense ripeness of the vintage with hints of raisins and other dried fruits. Full-bodied, medium sweet and so very velvety. A big mouthful. Superb. Just starting to open. 99/100' James Suckling, 2017
