Description

A bottle of Sercial 1940 Madeira. Produced and bottled by Blandy's Madeiras, LDA., Funchal in 1986, produce of the Island of Madeira, Portugal. Matured in an American oak cask for 46 years accompanied with a certified certificate from Madeira Wine Company S.A stating this was signed and sold on 9 October 1993.

Sercial is the driest and crispest of the four classic grape varieties of Madeira, and is grown in diminishing quantities at the southern end of the island.
