Description

A bottle of Lemorton 10 Year Old Vieux Calvados du Domfrontais. This was distilled over wood fires and matured in oak casks. We estimate this was bottled in the 1970s.

Calvados Domfrontais is produced from pears as well as cider apples, this is a centuries old tradition in the Domfront region and sets it apart from its neighbours. Over the years, Domfrontais producers have strived to have this regional characteristic recognised and regulated by the French authorities.
