A miniature bottle of Watson's No.10 Old Scotch whisky, produced by James Watson & Co. Ltd. We estimate this was bottled in the 1950s.
Please note there is no size or ABV stated on the label.
James Watson & Co was founded in 1815, before being acquired by Buchanan-Dewar and Walker in 1923. Following the merger with DCL in 1925, Watson's large stocks of whisky, which featured malt from distilleries including Parkmore, Pulteney and Ord, was shared out between DCL's larger holdings. Following this, Watson's began a long decline, though its blends, Barley Bree and No.10, remained available in small quantities until the 1980s.
This lot is from a large collection of miniatures and memorabilia built up during the 1980s and 1990s by whisky expert Sukhinder Singh. He is now selling part of his collection to make room for more acquisitions.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note general wear.

However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.
