A rare bottle of The Macallan, bottled sometime in the late 1970s for trade customers to announce Atkinson, Baldwin & Co. Ltd, as the new distributor for The Macallan.
The label reads: Established 1824. Still the finest Single Malt Whisky on Speyside. Whiskies distilled from 10 to over 15 years ago still available. Macallan-Glenlivet Ltd. and Atkinson, Baldwin & Co. Ltd. Present The Macallan. To be launched in the United Kingdom in Autumn 1979.
This lot is from a large collection of miniatures and memorabilia built up during the 1980s and 1990s by whisky expert Sukhinder Singh. He is now selling part of his collection to make room for more acquisitions.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note general wear and damage to the box.
