A bottle of Vino Santo Toscano Degli Otto Santi 1979, a table wine produced in Italy and bottled in Mercatale Val Di Pesa by Castelli Del Grevepesa.

The tradition of Vin Santo is an old one and there are several theories as to how it came to be named as Holy Wine. One theory holds is that it relates to the timing of the fermentation of Vin Santo grapes around Easter.
