A bottle of 1968 Mastroberardino Taurasi Riserva Piano D'Angelo.

This is bottle number 3625.

The 1968 vintage for Mastroberardino in Campania, southwest Italy, was considered to be of such fine quality that the company produced three single vineyard wines (of which Piano D'Angelo is one) in addition to their regular Riserva flagship bottling, which is a blend of all three sites. The late Antonio Mastroberardino was a key proponent of the indigenous local grape varieties, and this is an Aglianico blend.
