Description

A bottle of 2009 Château d'Armailhac Grand Cru Classé from the Pauillac appellation in Bordeaux.

A 'fifth growth' in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, the Château started life as Brane Mouton, and was subsequently renamed Mouton-D'Armailhacq in honour of its 18th century founder, before being changed to Mouton Baron Philippe by Baron Philippe de Rothschild. Philippine de Rothschild changed the name one last time, to its current incarnation, Château D'Armailhac, in 1991.

This Chateau D'Armailhac 2009 sold at our online auction for £60
