A bottle of Saran Coteaux Champenois Blanc de Blancs, a still white wine from Moët & Chandon made from entirely from Chardonnay. Château Saran, a former hunting lodge in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly, was built by Jean-Rémy Moët, the grandson of Moët & Chandon’s founder in 1801, and is where the company receives distinguished guests, and is one of the few places to try this bottling.
The designation 'Vin Nature de la Champagne', was replaced by the appellation 'Coteaux Champenois' in 1974 which means this was bottled after that year.
