Description

A bottle of 1988 Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos sweet wine bottled by Bodrog-Varhegy, Hungary.

Five puttonyos is equivalent to 125 kilos of botrytised grapes added to a 136 litre barrel of base wine: enough to give the resulting wine a richly luscious character whilst maintaining good levels of natural balancing acidity.
