Description

A bottle of Gold Bowmore 44 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, the last release in the Trilogy series. This was distilled on 5 November 1964, matured in three bourbon casks and one oloroso sherry cask and bottled in 2009.

This is bottle number 079 of 701.

The Bowmore distillery underwent an extensive upgrade in late 1963 and this bottling comes from the first distillation following the conversion. This expression is the last in the Trilogy series and was bottled 14 years after the 'Final Edition' of Black Bowmore was released in 1995. The Trilogy is completed with a 42 Year Old Black Bowmore released in 2007, and a 43 Year Old White Bowmore released in 2008.

This Bowmore 1964 Gold Bowmore 44 Year Old sold at our online auction for £16,200
