This lot contains six pieces of correspondence and price lists sent to wine and spirit merchant William Pulling & Co. These documents date from 1904 to 1909.
One letter from Cock, Russell & Co. advertising its Veuve Amiots Sparkling Saumur, dated 13 December 1904.
One letter from Richard Hooper & Sons inviting applications for its VT Tawny and VF Full Ports, available in pipes, hogsheads and quarter casks, dated 21 May 1907.
One letter from agent Walter Butler requesting quotes from William Pulling & Co. for any 1890 or 1896 vintage ports available from Taylor's, Dow's, Sandeman's, Croft's, Cockburn's or Graham's, dated 11 April 1904.
One letter from G Campbell Davy requesting information on a quarter cask of Hennessy 1893 vintage Cognac he has lying at William Pulling & Co.'s bonded warehouse. Specifically he would like to know the amount of rent due and how much the whole cask may be worth. This letter is dated 18 March 1907.
One letter from Cock, Russell & Co. advertising the availability of several hundred pipes of Pure Douro Port Wine, dated 18 February 1909.
One vintage report from Robertson Bros & Co. concerning the 1908 vintage for Port and Sherry, with prices attached. This is dated 8 March 1909.
