Description

A bottle of Old Comber 30 Year Old Pure Pot Still Irish Whiskey. We estimate this was bottled in the 1980s.

Comber distillery was founded in Northern Ireland in 1825 as a brewery, before John Miller invested £8000 to convert it to a whiskey distillery. The distillery changed hands in the 1950s and the final distillation was in February 1953. In the early 1980s, local wine merchants and distillers’ agents James E McCabe sourced remaining stocks of Comber whiskey from Ireland's bonded warehouses and released Old Comber 30 Year Old.
