A bottle of Warre's 2000 Vintage Port, bottled in 2002.

An extremely dry winter followed by late flowering gave 'the lowest yields in living memory' at Warre's Cavadinha and Retiro vineyards, making for an extremely concentrated, long-lived port.

'Big and pruney and then (immediately) very dry and quite stern and cigar-smoking. Not to be touched for some time but well made and with a definite style! Very chewy indeed. Drink 2015-2030. 18/20' Jancis Robinson, 2002
