A bottle of 1969 Taittinger Comtes Brut Blanc De Blancs Champagne, made from 100% Chardonnay in Reims, France.
'It's actually rare for this ever-brilliant prestige Champagne to combine subtle lemony-fresh acidity with such a coconut fatty richness, as is the case here. Juicy and nectar-ish, with tons of caramel notes and an appetizing, ascending aftertaste of newly picked Mediterranean lemons. 97/100' Richard Juhlin, 2001
Please note, there is no size or ABV stated on the labels but this appears to be a 75cl bottle.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note general wear.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.
