Description

A 50cl bottle of Marzemino Passito 2000 produced in Italy from Marzemino grapes harvested in September on the Val De Brun estate (Refrontolo) and placed on racks until December. This was bottled by Azienda Agricola Astoria Refrontolo.

Passito is an Italian term for wines made by the appassimento process whereby grapes are partially dried on straw mats or pallets in order to concentrate the flavour and sweetness prior to fermentation.
