A bottle of The Balvenie 17 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This was distilled on 25 April 2001, matured in a fino sherry butt and bottled at 63.5% ABV on 14 March 2019. This is from chapter five in The Balvenie DCS Compendium series, commemorating landmark moments in David C Stewart's career which honour both his development as a craftsman and a malt master.
The Balvenie DCS Compendium is a whisky collection curated by David C Stewart, the fifth and longest-serving malt Master at The Balvenie Distillery. Drawing on over 50 years of experience, David has carefully selected 25 casks of The Balvenie, divided info five chapters that illustrate his life's work.
