A one-off, handmade sample bottle of Compass Box D is for Decadence, a blended Scotch whisky released to celebrate the independent bottler's 10th anniversary in 2010.
This whisky is a blend of 21 year old grain whisky from Port Dundas and 12 year old malt from Clynelish, with a portion matured in French oak from the Vosges forests. It was an exclusive release for the French market and was sold in 10 litre demi-johns along with separate labels and 50cl bottles which were filled in-store upon purchase.
This sample bottle was filled by Compass Box whisky maker Gregg Glass for a VIP in the whisky trade.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note general wear.

Older bottles often contain small amounts of sediment. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
