Tullibardine was built in 1949 on the site of Gleneagles brewery by renowned distillery designer William Delme-Evans. After changing hands several times, it was mothballed in 1994 and remained closed until 2003, when a consortium of investors purchased the distillery for £1.1m and brought it back into operation.
