Delivery Options

If you've won a particular lot on whisky.auction, we will, of course, arrange delivery for you – or for collection in person, if you'd prefer.

If you'd like to have the parcel delivered to a location that differs from the address you've registered with us, please add the location during the checkout process, prior to payment.

Once your parcel has been shipped, we'll send you an email with a link that will enable you to track your package online.

  • Shipping costs are calculated on a parcel size and weight basis. A 70cl bottle will typically have a size and weight equivalent to 1.5kg.
  • Some items may have a larger shipping weight if they're boxed or a larger size. In this instance, our delivery charges will reflect the total shipping weight of the item(s).
  • Orders that include standard-sized bottles and miniatures/memorabilia will be calculated on the final combined weight.

Insurance

  • Insurance, which covers the safe delivery of your item(s), is free for UK customers.

Collecting Items In Person

  • If you wish to collect your item(s) in person, select the 'collect from office' option at the checkout page.
  • Collections must be made during office hours, and you must make an appointment beforehand by emailing [email protected].
  • We're able to hold bottles in our office for free for a maximum of 10 working days, after which we charge storage fees of £2 per lot per day.

Returns and Cancellation

  • If you're unhappy with your purchase, we will offer a full refund, but you'll need to email or call us within 14 days of receiving your items in order to let us know.
  • In addition, lots need to be returned to us in the same condition as you received them within 14 days of notifying us that you wish to return them (please note that you will be responsible for any postage/shipping costs).

Damaged Items

  • If your items are damaged, you must contact us immediately.
  • Proof of the damage must also be provided – we will need to see photos of the damaged items, including a photo of the bottle seal.

  • We insure your winning lots automatically.
  • The fee for this is 1% of your total order, which will be added to your invoice.

Returns and Cancellation

  • If you're unhappy with your purchase, we will offer a full refund, but you'll need to email or call us within 14 days of receiving your items in order to let us know.
  • In addition, lots need to be returned to us in the same condition as you received them within 14 days of notifying us that you wish to return them (please note that you will be responsible for any postage/shipping costs).

Damaged Items

  • If your items are damaged, you must contact us immediately.
  • Proof of the damage must also be provided – we will need to see photos of the damaged items, including a photo of the bottle seal.

Duty for customers in Russia/USA

  • Customs duty will be included in your delivery fee.
  • We guarantee that your order will not be subject to any further charges.

Duty for other non-EU customers

  • Your order may be subject to local taxes and duties upon arrival in your country.
