Description

A bottle of The Macallan The Archival Series Folio Four. This is the fourth chapter in The Archival Series, sold with a commemorative book all within a book-shaped presentation box.

The Archival series takes a look back at The Macallan's advertising campaigns of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. This fourth edition features a strathspey (Scottish dance tune) composed by James Scott Skinner (1843-1927). The advert was the first instance of musical notation in a British newspaper and noted that Skinner was inspired by a tumbler of his favourite Scotch whisky, The Macallan.

This Macallan Folio 4 sold at our online auction for £900
