A bottle of Glen Albyn 15 Year Old from independent bottler Cadenhead. This was distilled in November 1963 and bottled in March 1979.
Glen Albyn was founded in 1846 by James Sutherland, a local landowner and mayor of Inverness. After a turbulent history, including time spent as a US naval base for mine manufacturing, Glen Albyn closed for good in 1983, and was demolished a few years later.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
