A pair of Royal Navy Rum flagons, still in their original wooden crate. The crate is sealed with metal straps. We estimate these were bottled in 1954 to 1955.
This comes with a Certificate of Legal Title and Transfer, showing the item being transferred from one bonded warehouse (Marshall Wineries) to another (Octavian Ltd), in December 1995. This document states the country of origin as Jamaica, and the contents as two imperial gallon flagons of dark Navy rum. We have removed the original owner's name from the images.

PKD 11/55 (Which we assume to mean 'Packed November 1955')
